About me

I am a physicist from Guatemala. I obtained my 5-year Licentiate degree in Physics from the School of Physical Sciences and Mathematics of Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala (USAC). Following my graduation, I moved to Mexico City to pursue a Master’s degree in Physics at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). Currently, I am a Physics PhD Candidate at UNAM—having officially advanced to candidacy after passing my qualifying exam in January 2026—working in Carlos Pineda’s group.
